This course is aimed at Senior Care Workers wanting to develop or even demonstrate their skills. Aspiring staff can also undertake the award to prepare them for promotion at a later date.
Introduction:
On this flexible, 9 month part-time course you will be guided through a range of advisory mini workshops by experienced and qualified assessors. These workshops are aimed at meeting individual students' needs.
Entry Requirements:
You will need to be at least 18 years of age and working in an appropriate Care setting as a Senior Care Worker or have some supervisory responsibility.
Course Details:
The programmed consists of knowledge, information and assignments for the mandatory and optional units.
Course Assessment:
An allocated assessor will guide you through the Diploma and will assess your work practice which includes observation and knowledge.
Course Progression:
On successful completion of this course, there are opportunities to progress onto the NVQ Level 4 Care & Leadership and Management Awards, Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care and other professional HE courses for example Social Work & Nursing.
Cost:
We still have funding for this qualification and even offer Apprenticeships to help keep costs to a minimum
