We make it easier to complete the Care Certificate and are by your side all the way.
The Care Certificate is a nationally recognised certificate and is the ideal start to your new career in care.
Our 3 day training programme:
- Covers the knowledge components of all 15 standards (so the employer only has to assess competency)
- Provides a compact and easy to follow version of the Skills for Care workbooks where attendees complete most of the questions in the three training days
- Provides phone and email support after the course to both attendee and employer where we answer any queries about how to achieve the Care Certificate
- Gives access to online resources which help both attendee and employer complete the workbook easily
Each day of training covers 5 standards and the content is adapted from the official Care Certificate workbooks and knowledge provided by Skills for Care. The sessions are delivered by local and friendly experts in the care sector who always strive to make learning fun and interesting with scenarios, videos, practical tasks and challenging debates.
But why choose us? One good reason is that we have been appointed the specialist provider to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to provide the Care Certificate which ensures we are providing relevant, up to date and meaningful training. We also deliver this course on a monthly basis in Sheffield so that new starters in care settings across Sheffield, Rotherham, Dinnington and Doncaster can start their journey to achieve the Care Certificate. We've delivered this programme to many new starters working in residential care homes and domiciliary settings now with great feedback.

Message from Skills for Care, June 2018
*our workbooks have been amended to match the changes*
Care Certificate workbook: last updated June 2018.
Please note due to the introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we've made some changes to the Care Certificate workbook. This is to ensure the workbook is compliant with GDPR and that the learner is aware of the recent changes. We've also taken the opportunity to update the wording in module 5 "Work in a person centred way". The wording has been changed to reflect person-centred practices across health and social care. The information included within the section, and its outcome, remain unchanged. All links within the workbook have also been checked and refreshed, ensuring that all information is relevant and up-to-date.
