in the Leeds City Region

canva banner.png

This project aims to help care workers undertake learning opportunities that will help them progress in their career.

The project is being delivered across the whole of the Leeds City Region and includes face-to-face training sessions running in training venues across the region or in care providers own premises. Programmes are also available via distance learning and online so that care staff across the region can participate in the learning programmes in a flexible and convenient way.

Main eligibility criteria:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Employed within an SME
  • Employed in and/or living in the Leeds City Region* (we can use a Postcode Checker if you are unsure if you fit into this criteria)
  • Not NEET, Not undertaking an apprenticeship

*Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York

We aim to ensure both employers and employees alike receive the essential support they need to enable staff to undertake learning opportunities in a flexible way, whether that be helping ensure new starters are suitably qualified, helping staff to improve in their employment by taking on additional responsibilities or helping staff to progress onto a higher level of work or higher job role.

You can book your own training course on-site to help address individual and specific needs, help employees embark on online and distance learning courses or book employees onto any of our open courses below. We encourage employers to engage with multiple courses and all opportunities available are fully funded (subject to eligibility).
